The Daily Mail a story today which is a certainly a harsh reminder that some fights are just not worth it.
Denisa Graham has been left regretful and heartbroken after losing the 'love of her life' when her husband was killed in a horrific car crash as the couple argued over a takeaway. She is a model and always on a diet to watch her weight while her husband Paul Graham had just been playing basketball and wanted a curry takeaway.
The couple, who had been married less than a year, had been on their way home when the accident occurred.
Denisa Graham, who suffered serious injuries to her legs and feet, recalled how 'Paul was getting frustrated because he didn't want the same food as me,'.
Paul's mother Lola, 74, of Wednesbury, West Midlands, said her daughter-in-law Denisa, who works for a modelling agency, did not want to eat fast food because she was 'on a diet'. She said: 'He enjoyed a curry, but Denisa was always on some sort of diet or hardly eating to keep slim.'
The sadness that must have been created from this must be overwhelming for everyone involved most especially the widow, Denisa. As much as I feel she must be in deep regret we must realise that they could have killed other people as a result of their behaviour. Many people feel so safe inside their cars that they forget that they might be traveling at 40 mph. Arguing in the car should be something that everyone should forbid. Sad to see that a small disagreement can escalate to such an extent and result in such harsh, irreversible consequences.
RIP Paul Graham.
