What Lies Are Your Pastors Telling You?

God’s perfection can be seen in all things. From the change in the seasons to the complexity of human nature, His Word holds true and his glory is undeniable. Nothing is as amazing as when The Word became life and man became liberated from the curse of Adam. The truth was revealed and passed down from generation to generation. Those that sought were able to find the treasure that was buried in God’s word. Everything is well spelt out and for the ones that were not so clear, we have the Holy Spirit to be our guide. Truthfully, there is no better time to have been born. The feeling of being saved is overwhelmingly beautiful.

The church has grown so much since her inception, millions of people are drawn towards the truth and soldiers in Christ are born every day. Many are called to help others discover the truth and God has made His glory shine through many of these individuals.

Prophet, Evangelist, Bishop, Pastor or whatever designation the leaders among us are called, have helped greatly in propagating the gospel and helping new members with their faith.It is always such a relief to have someone that is more spiritually mature to mentor one through the things of the spirit.

It is very disheartening however that some of these people are ‘more lost’ than the sheep they ought to be guiding. They are given to greed, and the quest for the material things of this world are more important to them than soul winning. They take control of the minds of their congregation through manipulation and come up with their own brand of Christianity. Some of the members of these so called churches were even better off unsaved.You cant imagine how I felt when I saw the video of the pastor that was using bleach and detergent to cleanse the heads of his congregation in order for their sins to be washed away or the pastor that made the members of his church feed on grass like goats. What manner of manipulation is this? Are we still reading the same bible here? I was even more shocked to read the newspaper clipping shared in the first image above. Nobody knows the hour when the son of man will come(Matt 24:36 ), who commissioned this pastor to check people's name in the book of life? 

When did it get so bad that we allow ourselves be lied to this badly?

When you hear the word of God being preached to you, you have an assignment to reflect upon it and also dig deep into the bible to be sure you are not being led astray. The word of God is not what a'supposed' man of God says it is, the word of God is as it is written in the Bible.

Proverbs 4:5-7 “Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth. Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee. Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.”

As Christians, we all need to understand that the truth is printed in black and white for us all to see. The bible warned us about end time pastors and we have seen them manifest in different ways. Knowing the truth truly sets the soul free and save from soul savages.

Whatever lies you are being told, the truth (Bible) is just a read away. Don't be a lazy christian. Don't starve your soul of the truth. Ask questions, read and let the holy Spirit guide you.
