"The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. And likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does. Do not deprive one another except with consent for a time, that you may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again so that Satan does not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.".
So if the Bible says this, there can be no rape in marriage.

This issue came up recently with Donald Trump's lawyer, Michael Cohen. He made an outrageous remark while defending Donald Trump from an old allegation that he once forced himself upon his then-wife Ivana. Spousal rape is a crime in America.
In some parts of the world, some people cannot believe that spousal rape is a crime.
However, let us reason together as Christians. Even though the wife of husband does not have authority over their bodies, sex SHOULD be carried out in love.
The Bible speaks of love as the ultimate. 1 Corinthians 13 talks about Love. After reading this chapter, ask yourself the question again. It behoves both partners in a marriage to seek the best of the other partner. If your spouse does not want to engage in sexual activity, you should not consider rape. Find out the reason and discuss as the reasons might be very deep and need to be resolved lovingly.
Everything should be done in Love.
